My friend, Cedric, is a talented Marin architect who hired me. His sensibility is truly modern and this house exemplifies that with its clean lines and geometric layout, coupled materially with stucco, natural cedar, smooth concrete, and dark anodized windows. He is also a hearty Belgian who loves to summit Tam and then head home for craft beverages and family parties. Within a relatively small footprint, we designed a garden that adds lots of warmth, plant diversity and hangout nooks while maintaining his aesthetic.
